Privacy policy

This policy is for highstrungpro.com and the High Strung Productions mailing list. It is written to match what the site actually does. Rheander, the iOS/Mac app, has its own shorter policy at /rheander/privacy.html.

Who we are

High Strung Productions LLC. Questions: highstrungpro@icloud.com. We do not publish a street address on this site.

What we collect

  • Mailing list. If you join, we store the email you typed, the brand (hsp), an optional source label (which page you were on), and the time of signup. That lives in our Supabase project. The public site can insert a row; it cannot read the list.
  • Analytics (optional). Google Analytics 4 runs only when a measurement ID is configured and you accept the cookie banner. If either is missing, we do not load analytics. When it runs, Google receives standard usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device). We ask Google to anonymize IP.
  • Preferences on your device. Theme (light/dark) and cookie-consent choice are stored in localStorage so the site remembers them. Those are not sent to us.
  • Email you send us. If you write highstrungpro@icloud.com, we see whatever you put in the message.

What we do not collect

No accounts on this website. No advertising identifier. No sale of personal information. Vault audio is signed on the server so a browser can play a published release — that request is for playback, not a marketing profile.

Cookies

If analytics is not configured, we do not set analytics cookies and we do not show a consent banner. If it is configured, the banner asks before GA4 cookies are used. Theme and consent storage are strictly for running the site the way you left it.

Third parties you may meet

  • Google Fonts (typefaces).
  • Supabase (mailing-list insert).
  • Google Analytics, only after consent and only if configured.
  • YouTube, if you play an embedded video on a release page.
  • Sibling sites linked in the footer (Cloudsurfing Jupiter, iGuitarJournal) — their policies apply there.

How long we keep list addresses

Until you ask to be removed. Write highstrungpro@icloud.com and we will delete the row.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new text at this URL.
